Our Skilled Migration Journey
1. Initial Consultation
Your pathway begins with a video meeting with one of our certified Migration Agents who will evaluate your background and circumstances.
Remember: Your supporting evidence is crucial to the success of your application. We’ll need to thoroughly examine your documentation before proceeding with skills assessments or Expression of Interest submissions.
If we determine you likely meet the basic eligibility requirements, we’ll provide a detailed fixed-fee quote outlining costs for each phase of the process.
To make your visa journey more financially manageable, we offer installment payment options during the preparation phases.
2. Comprehensive Eligibility Review
Upon engaging our services, we conduct a thorough assessment of your qualifications, professional experience, English proficiency, and personal circumstances to determine if you meet the relevant visa requirements. During this assessment, we identify suitable occupations for nomination and evaluate your potential eligibility for a positive skills assessment from the appropriate authority.
We then provide detailed guidance about your ability to meet the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) requirements for receiving an invitation to apply.
Important: Our preliminary assessment doesn’t guarantee a positive skills assessment, nomination approval, or invitation to apply. Success in obtaining nomination depends on the specific requirements of each State or Territory at the time of EOI evaluation. Regional authorities regularly update their criteria and occupation lists based on local workforce needs.
3. Skills Assessment Preparation
If our initial review indicates you’re likely eligible, we’ll prepare your skills assessment application. The DOHA designates specific assessment authorities for each occupation on the STSOL and MLTSSL. Only assessments from these authorized bodies are accepted for EOI submissions. We’ll provide a comprehensive list of required documents and information. Once you’ve submitted all necessary materials and fees, we’ll lodge your application with the appropriate assessment authority.
4. Expression of Interest Submission
After receiving a positive skills assessment, we’ll prepare and submit your EOI. At this stage, you’ll need to specify your preferred Australian state or territory for nomination, or indicate availability for nomination by any region. While supporting documentation isn’t required during EOI submission, you must be able to provide evidence validating all information in your EOI when invited to apply for the visa. If you successfully obtain regional nomination and satisfy all other requirements, you’ll receive an invitation to submit a visa application.
Note: EOIs remain active for 2 years from submission date. During this period, you can update your EOI if circumstances change (new qualifications, updated skills assessment, etc.). Changes in your ranking or regional skill needs during this period may result in receiving an invitation.
5. Regional/State Nomination
Following EOI submission, the government agency of your chosen State or Territory reviews your application to determine if you meet their specific nomination criteria, including whether your occupation appears on their skilled occupation list.
We’ll provide the regional government agency with all required evidence demonstrating you meet their criteria. Evidence requirements vary by location. Additionally, you must commit to settling in that region for a minimum of two years. If your evidence satisfies requirements, the State/Territory government will nominate you for the subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visa.
6. Visa Application Management
Once you’ve secured regional nomination and received an invitation from DOHA, we’ll prepare and submit your visa application within the specified timeframe, including all supporting documentation that validates your EOI information (skills assessment, language test results, qualifications, work references, etc.).
We manage the entire process, helping strengthen your supporting evidence before submission. Upon engagement, you’ll receive login credentials to our secure online portal for safely sharing confidential information and application documents.
Since each skilled visa application is unique, we provide customized document checklists tailored to your specific situation.
Our team completes all necessary forms, applications, and subsequent submissions on your behalf.
You can be confident that your Registered Migration Agent has extensive experience preparing hundreds of similar applications and specializes in creating “decision-ready” submissions. We prioritize accuracy, only lodging applications when we’re confident in their correct preparation.
Upon approval, you’ll be granted a permanent visa. You may be either inside or outside Australia when your visa is granted.
IMPORTANT: Application preparation typically takes several weeks, largely depending on how quickly you (and any sponsors) provide necessary information and documents.
DOHA processing times vary according to their service standards and may be affected by case complexity, risk factors, and processing priorities.
If you’re currently in Australia, you won’t receive a bridging visa until the visa application (step 6) has been submitted. Since completing the previous five steps often takes several months, we recommend beginning the process as soon as possible.
